Hi folks,
Fred appears to have misread a comment of mine and deleted it. I would like it restored and will show you how this was incorrect. The comment in question is this:
“Yeah, I’m not going to take a fake news site on their word that they even read a study, let alone the results.
As they tend to conflict with every other available study and conclusion thus far, it being the usual far right trash folks like Obey enjoy pushing is far more likely.”
Fred read it as “Far right trash folks like Obey,” which would be an insult, but that’s not what I wrote nor is it possible for the sentence to work in that way. Then it would read “it being the usual far right trash folks like Obey enjoy pushing is far more likely,” which is a nonsense sentence.
What is actually being said is that this is far right trash that folks like Obey enjoy pushing:
“it being the usual far right trash folks like Obey enjoy pushing is far more likely.”
In other words, the sentence means it is the usual far right trash that folks like Obey enjoy pushing.
Grammar is hard, but not something that my comments should get deleted over. Please restore.
