I’ve been banned by one of the mods for personal insults. However, I never once said or implied that the insults were directed at any CM. And in fact, the language specifically implies I was NOT talking about the CM in question, but a clown unrelated to the discussion. I did not break the community guidelines.
Additionally the Mod in question banned me without giving me time to remove the secondary instances of the language, which I would have if given a chance, following community guidelines about Mod discretion to tone down rhetoric. I simply wasn’t given the time to do so.
I’ll serve out the ban without issue if necessary, but given the CM in question is also a Mod, and well known to walk the line regarding personal insult themselves, this instance seems to show cronyism at minimum, rather than a good faith attempt at enforcing community standards.
