I just got banned by T9R for two days. I’ll serve it if necessary but is seems like a misunderstanding to me.
there is a user named Ralphie. His avatar is a picture of Ralphie from A Christmas Story. In a reply to this user I said, “go shoot your eye out.” I was banned as T9R thought this was a threat.
for anyone whos seen the movie, it’s clearly just a reference to the movie, not a threat against his person. Ralphie wants a Red Rider BB gun, and everyone he tells this to says “you’ll shoot your eye out.”
anyway, just wondered if we could clear that up, with the understanding that I won’t be making that specific reference again, two days off or no.
