Not sure what I said that violated the TOS. Cyn kept on using the racist term Karen and I objected to that. While my language was certainly peppery in my comments to him/her, I don’t think it was out of line with standard language used here. In particular, I’m confused why my post stating that my wife’s name is Karen (it is) and I object to the use of the name in a disparaging way is offensive. I did ask whether Cyn was mentally stunted – but that was obviously not meant in a truly mean sense. It was meant to convey the understanding that a person could object to the term “Karen” being used in a derogatory fashion, while still using the word Karen (e.g. stating my wife is named Karen). I thought my other comment was similar. I didn’t call Cyn a racist. I just stated that if Cyn continues to use the term Karen in the way he/she is using it, then he/she should examine whether or not he/she is a racist or sexist.
Anyway, this is only slightly a complaint. Being married to a white Karen that I happen to love deeply, I find this particular trend offensive in a personal way a little more than most. However, I’m also a little confused. I don’t think I’ve overstepped the normal boundaries. If you tell me where I overstepped the boundaries, I won’t overstep them again. I’ve no desire to cause problems. I enjoy the channel and I follow the guidelines. I just want to understand them.
