Just wanted a clarification as to what is permissible to post about Colin Kaepernick’s hair.
Take a look at the Kaepernick family portrait. This is the world in which CK grew up…white dad, white mom, white brother, white sisters. Do you see anything there that would indicate to me – or to reasonable people- much of any connection to the experiences of your average Black Americans?
Is it really beyond the pale, outrageously-delete-worthy-racism to ask if CK’s decision to go from close-cropped hair to an almost cartoonishly large afro just might have something to do with him wanting to burnish his street cred with the Black community, a community with which he has very little in common? We’re not allowed to ask that or our comment gets deleted?
Multiple gibes on here every day mocking Trump’s hair but Kaepernick’s hair is off limits?
Doesn’t seem logical, reasonable, nor fair.
