Rules question

Posted on 2020-01-172020-02-05 by danielsangeo

Hello.

I’d just like some guidance about something that just happened regarding a moderator.  I didn’t want to continue it further in the discussion topic so I’ll bring it here.  Here is the post in question.

Senators, abide by your impeachment oath

Moderator Fred Smith, on an article regarding Senators abiding by their impeachment oath, first claimed that Democrats and Republicans don’t do that, and then when I asked him about which Senate Democrats didn’t abide by their impeachment oath he began to berate me about being on topic (as per the channel guidelines), using terminology like “caterwauling“, being “disingenuous and petty” and perhaps in need of a “Whaaaaambulance” for simply discussing how my posts were on topic.

I don’t know if this kind of behavior is okay or not, especially since I was trying to stay on topic in accordance with the channel guidelines, so some guidance here would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for your time!
