Closing posts without addressing the issues isn’t resolution

Posted on 2024-08-062024-08-06 by Best in Moderation

Given that my post was closed without allowing me to reply, and that it did not address my question, here we go again.

There appear to be three issues at play here:

  1. Trump being a rapist means that those who support him are supporting a rapist, which is a comment you seem to take issue with.
  2. People calling Harris a whore are being misogynistic, something you seem to take issue in me calling out.
  3. People calling Joe Biden an incestuous pedophile are breaking the forum rules and perpetuating a sick fantasy, something you seem to take issue with me pointing out.

So again I ask, what are your rules? Trump is an adjudicated rapist, and those who support him are supporting him regardless. How does one address that within your ruleset? Calling women you dislike politically whores is misogynistic. How does one address that within your ruleset? Mods and CMs openly breaking one of the most well moderated rules (excepting when Obey does it) is supposedly a problem. How does one address this within your ruleset?

Is it ok to say I support a child molester or terrorists? Because that’s a daily insult thrown my way.

And in what way is calling someone “BNR’s punching bag” a deletable offense?

Please address the questions instead of just closing it out of hand. There’s no way to change behaviors or learn without some engagement.
