I had a comment deleted by moderator Rawr 狮.
That comment was:
Jeeves S. Krites is making stupid comments on Disqus.
Link to the comment was:
The moderator referred to this as a “personal insult”.
Now, I had edited the comment, as the orginal comment referenced the CM’s username, which happened to be the CM’s actual name IRL, but besides that the comment and the spirit of the comment remained unchanged after the edit.
In the same thread another moderator, theunknownsleeper, had already stated:
Posters are allowed to call comments stupid. Flagging it will do not good. They cannot call other posters stupid is the rule.
So, I’d please like to have the edited version of the comment reinstated.
And I have to wonder about the competency of the one moderator, Rawr 狮, since they are either unaware of the fact that “posters are allowed to call comments stupid”, which is a pretty straightforward rule and given the wording of the comment they deleted it is clearly within the stated rules and not open to interpretation.
