Is this fair?

Did the following comment deserve a three day ban or was Fossil acting out of personal animosity?

I think he’s butt-hurt for two reasons:

  1.  An argument we had when he voiced the idiotic opinion that scientific theories don’t make predictions and I called his idiotic opinion idiotic.
  2. Because I’ve consistently called him out for his not having any good reason for his faith (the closest he’s come to a good reason is that his family is Catholic)

What would you have thought about a German who said something like: “I don’t like Hitler. I don’t like his jingoism. I’d prefer a German state led by somebody else. But if forced to choose between Germany ceasing to exist and Hitler, I choose Hitler.”?

I mean, sure… it’s not a perfect analogy… Israel’s actions haven’t matched Germany’s atrocities… not even close… but… well, you don’t seem to be at all bothered by Israel’s genocide.

Israel’s dead: about a thousand
Palestine’s dead: over thirty five thousand

Over half of houses in all of Palestine have been damaged or destroyed. Most commercial facilities, destroyed. Nearly three quarters of schools – destroyed. The vast majority of water wells… destroyed. Heck, even more than 250 places of worship, destroyed.

It’s a fucking genocide, and having you deny it does nothing for your reputation, at least as not as far as I’m concerned (although to be fair I already rated you pretty lowly on the scale of decency).

I’ll be honest and there was a comment that arguably went too far before that… I called GayJew a “racist ****”… it was bleeped out… still, I can see why that comment was deleted (and I was given a warning)…  this second comment, though… I mean…  what the actual fuck?  A three day warning?

Is there ever any discipline for any ******-**-***-**** mods going on personal vendettas?
