Yesterday I submitted two OPs that were not published.
They are here:
I’m a trans man who got pregnant after a Grindr hookup: ‘All worth it’
and here:

The reason given for them not being published in that they were deemed “inflammatory”.
I’m looking for clarification how they could be deemed to be “inflammatory” when an OP like this one:
is judged as acceptable.
It should be quite obvious that these all three OPs cited here are very similar in nature and are simply “reporting on” similar types of content and not making any direct claims about the content that they are “reporting on”.
I am therefore looking for clarification was to why my two OPs are deemed inflammatory and don’t see the light of day whereas the other OP cited is published and left open.
I have attempted to get clarification on what is deemed as inflammatory previously and when I made that attempt it involved another article from Reduxx; however that Den OP was never published. That is referenced here:
As I said in that never published Den OP I can understand that Reduxx shines a light on some pretty disturbing news items; however their articles are written in a way that I believe would generally fall under the “reported on” categorization and characterization that was given as the reason why the professor playing queer theory Jeopardy article was left to stand. And I would definitely slot the NY Post article cited above into that categorization and characterization.
I would appreciate any attempt at explaining the subtle and nuanced differences that would lead to these OPs of similar content and approach being closed or left open.
Lastly, I would like to point out that the authoring guidelines do mention anything about Breaking News articles not being able to be inflammatory, as that is only mentioned for the Religion and Perspective categories.
