I submitted this OP:
which used this source article:
https://www.sciencetimes.com/articles/43663/20230509/scrotoplasty-new-trend-male-grooming-experts-conduct-study-assess-idea.htm
The moderator reviewing it did not publish it and declared that it was “inflammatory/homophobic”.
Now this particular moderator has reviewed a massive amount of my OP submissions and approves and publishes the majority of them, but they more than any other moderator, will deem the OP articles submitted unsuitable for publication due to their view that they are (in descending order of excuses given) “inflammatory”, “transphobic”, “homophobic” or a combination of the latter two with the first one.
When this occurs I typically chuckle to myself (especially when the weak “inflammatory” excuse is given since a good portion of the OPs on any given day could be deemed inflammatory) and carry on even though often enough I do not agree with the verdict rendered. And admittedly sometimes after review and reflection I can see the point of concern. So, I’m seldom here whining about my OP submissions that never see the light of day.
However, this particular OP submission and it’s rejection does not make any sense. The OP article is not inflammatory in any way and doesn’t even mention anything at all about LGBTQ+.
The subject matter of the OP article is particularly interesting to me as I find all elective cosmetic surgery procedures fascinating and think that anyone who would ever subject themselves to such procedures is fucking crazy. And electing to have a ball sack tightening is just about the craziest thing ever!
As such I’m looking for a review of this submission.
Thank you.
