Good morning all.
I have some questions regarding uploading images when posting articles.
Occasionally I have had articles rejected because the image used did not come from the article directly, in those cases I have tried to use the image that would be considered most closely associated with the article.
After trying this approach for a while I decided that if I could not get the image down to the required size or if the article has forbidden me to copy the image that I would use the logo of the source as a substitute.
As an example today I posted an article from the Washington Examiner, it had no photos whatsoever but Mark was kind enough to put a relevant photo up for me.
Moving forward is that something that we as CM’s can do on our own provided it is absolutely in line with the article ?
I have had articles rejected previously when I have tried that approach even though I made no attempt to “Editorialize” the headline .
