I have a dream, that one day, moderators who are in essence nothing but trolls who post insult after insult and are never held accountable are instead ejected from a forum they pollute.

I have a dream, that one day, moderators who fail to make BNR a place where intelligent discourse is possible and instead make moronic comments all day lose their special protections and may be blocked, so that no one ever needs to be stalked by or bothered by their immature fucked up behavior ever again.
Truly, they are great dreams. But as they are dreams, I doubt they will ever come to pass.
BTW, here’s a definition of insulting from a moderator:
“Repeatedly stating someone is unable is an insult…implying someone a moron or not intelligent or suffering from persecution complex…”
And here are Al Ryan’s comments, which as usual always are insults:

“Anyone who thinks that I am crying has to be considerably less intelligent than they look.”

“Your posts indicate that recognizing intelligence is way beyond your cognitive abilities.”

And that’s just a sample from today. Clean house, would be my advice.
