Are we banning now on the first offense?
Today I said some things to HH that, yes, should have been deleted. I was wrong for that, a personal attack.
But this was the FIRST offense. I hadn’t been making any other attacks or violations, yet SrAgri just banned me flat out — no warning, no reminder of the rules, etc., like we used to do when I was a Mod here. Just banned. And I couldn’t even access the Den to make a complaint… I had to reach out to another Mod I know personally to see if I could be given access to make this Den post.
So what’s the new policy? If I am to be banned for the FIRST personal attack, are ALL others going to be now as well? Or are we going to Mod in a reasonable manner, deleting the comment (as it should be) and warning the offender (as we should be) or are we just going to begin to ban on sight from here forward?
I’d like to know because I’ve invested a lot of time and enthusiastic support for this channel over the years. I know the rules and I broke ONE, one time. If we’re going to start banning for a single offense, please let me know or are we going to measure out Mod responses a bit more sensibly?
