Ok, that was awful.
I’m trying to be reasonable. I’ve listened to your feedback, and I’ve politely done what I can to make your roles as moderators easier. I’ve ignored multiple petty personal insults against me, I’ve tuned most of the trolling out, and I’ve ignored certain moderators who comment on the boards and try to goad me.
I politely brought a request to look at a few comments that were heading into a conflict, and I did not act in kind to the person calling me mentally ill, cognitively impaired, etc. I asked you to take a look at it and remind him not to direct insults at CMs.
Mark took that up and I was asking for a clarification on something he wrote about those comments calling me mentally ill not being personal insults.
Then who strolls in to fuck things up but Al Ryan, who completely ignoring the question or the tone starts attacking me. I tell him to butt out of it unless he has a moderator input, but he does not. He further continues to hijack the Den post with his desperate need to attack me, and then Mark shuts the thread down without answering my question.
There simply seems to be no way to get anything addressed in a mature manner so long as Al Ryan remains on your moderating list. He’s objectively terrible at being a mature poster and dealing with his shit. And I’m tired of people making excuses for him. There was no excuse for his unrelated attacks and I am frankly sick of his immunity to any consequence while everyone else gets their requests ignored and questions unanswered.
