He was just told by Mod Fred that recommending to another user to “shower with a hair drier” is “advocating” harm.
With all due respect for the normally great work you guys are doing, that is simply ludicrous. There are many idioms like this out there that simply mean “get of my back” or “you are useless”, like “playing on the interstate” or “drinking the KoolAid”.
None of these are meant as actual advice to harm or kill yourself, but simply as biting sarcasm.
Please do not go all “safe space” on us here. We need to be able to vent and have a little fun with each other.
