I don’t fight with MODs even when I think they are incorrect. I always accept responsibility for my bad behavior, and generally let the MOD know I accept that responsibility. And I did so in this case as well.
What I’m not ok with is being castigated for starting a personal attack based argument when I clearly didn’t. This isn’t ice hockey, where the ref doesn’t see the first hit, so the retaliation garners the penalty. You can clearly see posting orders and times.
Respectfully disagreeing and providing clarifying evidence shouldn’t be met with threats of banning and directives to just be quiet and take it.
Also…this language:
John Smith, you had the right to remain silent.
Unfortunately… you didn’t have the ability.
You’re in the box until such time as you show up in the Den to be dealt with by a Centurion there.
That’s some hypocrisy right there. I mean, he’s on me for personal attacks and does what? Personal attack.
