This is nothing against Sir Tainley. I know that there’s gray area in the rules. It just makes me a little batty when stuff I’ve used before is suddenly moderated. It’s out of the blue from my perspective, and this is not the first time.
ST did imply that “debate” is the purpose of this forum. So did Fred Smith. And, yes, sometimes it is. But sometimes my purpose is to ridicule MAGA superfans, undereducated reality-nationalists, racist pigs, and in this case the sniveling gun-toting weenies who made up the recent march in Virginia.
While I’m here complaining, there’s plenty of stuff that’s allowed here that I find offensive. Some of it is posted by mods. Some is posted by people that, in my estimation, should have been permabanned a long, long time ago. Again, with the assumption that I know the rules, I prefer to respond to such folks with comments and images, rather than with flags and bitching in the Den. If I can’t do that to my satisfaction in a way that I believe is within the rules, there’s no point in my being here.
