Hi,
I recently began a discussion with the Catholic apologist and Patheos blogger, Dave Armstrong over at his blog. It’s here: https://www.patheos.com/blogs/davearmstrong/2020/02/dialogue-is-catholic-virginity-an-anti-sex-viewpoint.html
If I want to write an OP here addressing his blog post directly, is it ok to link to it in my OP and name him? I know and understand fully why people shouldn’t be named in OPs, but since his is a published piece in the public domain, I figured it would be ok, but just wanted to check before wasting a load of time on it.
My idea was to direct Dave to my post here, and my reason for posting here rather than in his comments is so that any discussion arising can be had on neutral territory.
My overarching reason for contacting you and not posting to his comm box is so that I don’t end up wasting time, either by breaking your rules, or having it zapped out of existence from his comm box, because it’s a good topic and I’ve been reading around on it for almost a week.
