Clarification

I would like to ask a point of clarification regarding “Insults”.

I’m seeing varying enforcement.  Yesterday I had several posts deleted for saying that people were being hypocritical, and that their arguments showed lack of critical thinking.  I didn’t argue, though I do disagree that these are insults, rather than simply calling out demonstrable fact.

Today I watched a poster call myself and multiple others “Trolls”, repeatedly, as he disagreed with our arguments.  I flagged these, and not only was nothing done to remove them…a Mod upticked the posts.  I understand this Mod agrees politically with the poster, but I am now confused about what exactly qualifies as an “Insult”.  Calling people “Trolls” is acceptable, but pointing out their hypocrisy is not?

Thanks!

If I would say a comment is hypocritical that would most likely pass, but to say someone is a hypocrite can be deemed a personal attack. The Mod team has seen the “troll” comment as subjective and generally gets a pass !!  Navy Vet
